The United Nations Trust Fund in to End Violence against Women was a leading multilateral financial mechanism exclusively devoted to supporting local efforts to end violence against women and girls. Administered by UN Women on behalf of the United Nations development system, fund operations drew from the technical expertise and collaborative action of dozens of stakeholders and partners.

With a focus on advancing the policy and plan implementation, UN Trust Fund stakeholders invested in initiatives that translated promises and recommendations into action and, ultimately, deliverables with tangible results. Concrete benefits were not only achieved for survivors of violence, but also contributed to the prevention of violence via $86 million US dollars for 351 initiatives in 128 countries and territories.
