OverviewJoint Programme on Gender-Based Violence in Zambia

The Joint Programme on gender-based violence (GBV) was developed to support the Government of the Republic of Zambia in implementing the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW), with particular focus on recommendations to bring about an end to violence against women and adopting ways of facilitating institutional transformation in the implementation of the Zambia Anti-GBV Act.
